Charity

How does it work? Every year during the ZRE Katowice Bytom Open tennis tournament a charity auction for the TPD (Society of Childrens’ Friends) in Bytom. Its’ protégés have the opportunity to cheer by the Amateur and professional Tournaments, and they receive gifts funded by the Sponsors and our Company.

Supporting Sport

We are constantly looking for new forms of communication through which to reach a wide range of stakeholders. We do this inter alia by encouraging the talents and caring for the development of local sport. Since 2005 we are the title sponsor of a tennis tournament of ATP Challenger Tour level - ZRE Katowice Bytom Open (read more about the tournament) The tournament is classified by the Association of Professional tennis (ATP), and is organized under the auspices of the Polish Association of Tennis (PZT).The company focuses on sports, which are characterized by prestige, consistancy and strength, distinctive attributes of our Company. Therefore, we focus on the development of tennis and young local talents. For many years we have sponsored the sports club KS “Górnik" Bytom. What is important ZRE Katowice SA also supports initiatives aimed at promoting sport among the youth and cares for the development of physical culture in the region.

The history of the Company is for almost 60 years inextricably intertwined with the history of this region, and the fate of many families for generations are linked with the activity of the Company. We do everything to be a reliable and a good neighbor and a valued partner of the local community.

We have been supporting the local community as a patronage culture for several years now. In 2009, we have taken patronage of the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice, sponsoring an CD release - selected works of Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki, Boleslaw Szabelski Eugeniusz Knapik and performed by Bozena Harasimowicz (soprano), Zbigniew Raubo (piano), Andrew Staciwy (piccolo), and the Silesian Philharmony Symphony Orchestra lead by Miroslaw Jacek Blaszczyk.
