Zakład Kotłów ZRE Katowice S.A. is the main contractor for the modernization of boiler no. 3 at EDF Polska branch Rybnik. The scope of the contract includes both the delivery of boiler pressure elements and their replacement at the facility. Last year, ZK delivered the following components:
1st stage water heater
2nd stage water heater including collection chambers
III degree of primary steam superheater, including collection chambers
V stage of the primary steam superheater
II degree of primary steam superheater, including chambers
Assembly works are currently being carried out, the scope also includes: assembly of scaffolding, replacement of thermal insulation and refurbished concrete.
