Location: Obranovac
The project comprised disassembling and reassembling of the electric generator body of the A-3 power unit with the power of 324 MV after the refurbishment project that included also supplies of necessary materials, spare parts and instrumentation.
Scope of jobs:
- Lifting of the old power generator with its power of 305 MW and the weights of 240 tons.
- Removing of the generator body with the weight of 165 tons from the casings and sliding the body outside the turbine shop.
- Lowering the body from the level +10m to the level ground level (0 m).
- Use of the hydraulic handling device to transport the body to the storage area.
- Transportation of the new stator body with the weight of 182 tons of the generator with the power of 324 MW.
- Lifting the body from the ground level (0 m) to the level of +10m.
- Sliding the body into the turbine shop.
- Installation of the body in casings and lowering the whole unit onto foundation.
