On 5th September 2014 ZRE Katowice and Alstom, acting as a consortium, signed a contract for upgrade the TK200 turbine installed
at ZE Ostrołęka B.
The project is aimed at refurbishment of the power unit No. 2.
The scope of jobs includes:
- Upgrade of the low pressure (LP) part.
- Revamping of the generator rotor.
- Replacement of a transformer with its power of 200 MW.
The field jobs are scheduled to be carried out in 2015.
