Heavy Lift Division of ZRE KATOWICE S.A. has finished heavy instalation of the Air Preheater APH weighting 410 tones on the construction of the boiler BFB (Bubbling Fluidize Bed) on the biomass of the Kalundborg power plant Asnæsværket in Denmark. Installation was realised by experienced workers team on the basis of own technology with usage of owned equipment.

On 19-21 September 2018 at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisław Staszica in Cracow, took place
 Scientific conference p. "Energy and Fuels 2018". 
The conference was organized by the Faculty of Energy and Fuels of AGH and the Institute of Power Engineering and Machinery at the Cracow University of Technology. 
Tadeusz Kościuszko in Krakow. The aim of the conference was to expose the interdisciplinary nature of science and technology in the field of fuels and energy, 
establish and strengthen contacts and exchange of experiences between representatives of scientific and industrial environments in the area of ​​broadly understood conference issues.

On the first day of the conference, after the common part, two Mini Symposia were held, working under the name "Energetic" and "Coke".

As part of the energy minisymposaurus, dedicated to "Joint ventures of Industry and Science - energy and fuel technologies", ZRE Katowice S.A. presented not only the business profile, 
but also its achievements.
